Peak Renovations is proud to announce the successful completion of a vital interior renovation project at Paradise Gardens Apartments in Dallas, Texas. Facing a critical safety issue, the City Fire Marshall cited the property for old, failing fire doors that were originally installed when the building was constructed in the 1930s. These doors posed a unique challenge due to their non-standard size. In addition, one of the storefront doors was not ADA compliant, and a faulty lock allowed unauthorized individuals, including homeless individuals, to gain access to the building and sleep in the halls. Peak Renovations stepped in to address these concerns by replacing the outdated doors with new, code-compliant ones. Moreover, to enhance security, an innovative internet key fob-based system was installed, providing residents with a safer and more secure living environment. These renovations not only ensure compliance with modern safety standards but also contribute to the overall well-being and peace of mind for residents at Paradise Gardens Apartments.
